Sr. Teresa Benedicta

Sister Teresa is a life-long Catholic. Both of her parents, thought, are converts, her father from Judaism and her mother from cultural Presbyterianism. Her mother was simultaneously an atheist and a Presbyterian minister. Her conversion to Christ and the Catholic faith came from attending classes taught by Dietrich and Alice von Hildebrand. Sister Teresa’s father became a Catholic Christian when the couple began to have children. Sister Teresa became a Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 1999. She teaches at Spiritus Sanctus Academy in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Richaél Lucero

After returning to the Faith while studying business at University of San Diego, Richaél earned a master’s degree in theology and Christian ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She strives to manifest the Lord’s command in Matthew 28:19 to “go and make disciples of all nations,” as part of the Catholic Answers marketing department and as the host of the Catholic Answers podcast Clumsy Theosis. She has also enjoyed speaking at parish events and being a part-time theology instructor at the San Diego Diocesan Institute. Richaél and her husband appreciate the expression of the mysteries of the Eastern Catholic churches and participate in the Byzantine Rite liturgy, where she sings in the choir and he is an altar server.

Katherine Dice

Katherine Dice was baptized as an infant, at Holy Angels Byzantine Catholic Church San Diego. Today she enjoys her faith and community surrounding that same Parish.
Katherine has a background in Emergency Medicine, Holistic Living and Sustainable Eco Design. She is an outdoor enthusiast and also very keen on travel.
